High-quality seaside accommodation in Kråkö and Gäddrag, Porvoo.

The island of Kråkö is accessible by car (15km from the centre of Porvoo) and by boat. The villas are on adjacent plots right on the sea shore and can be booked together (to accommodate 15 people) or separately.

There is an events venue on the island of Kråkö that can be booked for weddings and private functions, etc. The venue is around 1.5km from the villas. The space is suitable for around 60 people.

Porvoo is Finland’s second-oldest city. It is a beautiful city which is rich in history. The timeless and unique atmosphere in Old Porvoo attracts visitors from all over the world.

Porvoo really shines during the summer, but the old town is full of life all year round. It’s well worth experiencing the Lucia procession and irresistible cafés and boutiques at Christmas time. Old Porvoo is a must-see, and is accessible from our villa by car and boat.

Booking terms

A booking is binding once the customer has placed the booking. The booking fee (30% of the price) must be paid within 7 days of the booking and the final payment (70% of the price) must be paid 30 days before the rental period begins. 

Any additional services relating to your stay must be paid 30 days before the rental period begins. If a booking is made later than 30 days before the rental period begins, the entire payment must be completed immediately after booking. Pets are not permitted due to allergy reasons. Smoking is absolutely forbidden indoors. No shoes inside.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR DAMAGES

The customer is obligated to reimburse the owner directly for any damages to the site or furnishings.    

COMPLAINTS

• All complaints relating to the site booking and condition must be submitted immediately to the owner or a person authorised by the owner.
• We reserve the right to make changes to the prices.

Rental terms

• The villa is available to use from 5 pm on the day of arrival and check-out must take place no later than 11 am on the day of departure. A final inspection will be held once the keys are handed over.
• Keys are handed over at 5 pm on the rental day. If visitors do not arrive at this time and have not provided notification of a different time, we will charge €50 for handing over the keys.
• The customer is responsible for cleaning the villa during their stay and once the stay ends, and will bring their own bed linen and towels – unless they wish to rent these separately. Final cleaning must be mentioned when placing the booking.
• If the villa is not cleaned, or in the same condition as it was in when handed over, Porvoon Huvilat reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of €250

Terms of cancellation

Cancellations must always be made in writing to the owner of the villa if the customer cancels their booking:

• 30 days before the rental period begins, the booking fee will be returned minus a cancellation fee of €100.
• For cancellations later than 30 days before the rental period begins, the entire rent will be charged.
• Cancellation is deemed to have occurred once the villa owner has been informed and has responded.
• An exception to this is if the person placing the booking or a close relative or friend is suddenly taken ill or involved in an accident; please provide a doctor’s certificate.
